TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE  

    1- The present terms and conditions of sale are brought to the attention of every customer in order to allow them to place an order.  

    2-  Terms and conditions acceptance

When a customer completes the order form and confirms the order, he/she acknowledges having read the present terms and conditions of sale and declares to accept them without any condition.
          3- Main features of the goods and services offered
The artist points out to the buyer the following main features of the goods and services offered and deliverable. As a general rule, the features refer to the size, quantity, and materials used for the goods on offer. The goods in question are: paintings, made-to-measure paintings and services.
The painting can be hung by the Artist under certain conditions and depending on the place (country) where the painting is to be hung. The travel expenses are covered by the buyer. The customer recognises that the photographs on the website
www.astridmillenniumart.com  that represent the work are purely indicative and have no contractual value. Image processing may cause changes in perception of the painting. The Artist can in no case be held responsible.
All the works for sale on our site are original works, which come from the artist's workshop. Each work is signed by the Artist.

    4- Order taking / Order validation

The signed Purchase Order returned by fax is considered as valid proof of the order when accompanied by full payment in the case of a completed work or a 50% down payment in the case of a made-to-order work.

The customer must indicate his/her address as well as the order reference on the back of the cheque.

We will acknowledge receipt of your order by email once we have confirmed the availability of the piece of work.

The order will be finalised once the payment has been lodged into the artist's account.

If the signed purchase order and the appropriate payment are not received, the artist reserves the right not to deliver the work or not to start the work.

No delivery will take place before the seven working days for change of mind have elapsed nor before the requested payment has been lodged.

          5- Price

We will indicate the price when you contact us. When the customer has accepted the price, a Purchase Order will be sent out in order to conclude the sale indicating the final price and taxes, and the transportation costs. Any customs charges payable on delivery are chargeable to the buyer. All other related formalities or taxes are also chargeable to the customer.

          6- Payment
The price invoiced to the buyer is that which is indicated on confirmation of the order. The order price is payable in cash when the order is placed.

Credit transfer,

All currencies (Commission charges are payable by the buyer).

7-  Delivery

The customer is aware that the good will be delivered by carrier on a date identified in an email sent by Astrid Millennium Art to the email address specified when the buyer placed the order. In the event where the buyer is unable to take delivery on the indicated date, he/she must inform Astrid Millennium Art of this by email within 24 hours of receiving the first message.

We will deliver the good to the address indicated on the Purchase Order, even if it is different to the invoice address. The details given by the buyer on order taking commits him/her to the following: if there is a mistake in the wording of the destination address, Astrid Millennium Art denies all responsibility should the work not be delivered.

The event where no-one is present to receive the delivery of a work or where the work is not collected can in no way be considered as the implicit exercising of your right to change of mind. Delivery cannot be made to postal boxes. If a delivery address includes a postal box, the order will not be treated.

The delivery will be made by UPS, DHL to the address indicated by you within an average of 30 days after the order has been confirmed for Europe and French overseas territories. A longer delivery time is to be expected for other zones. This will be indicated when you place your order. The customer cannot claim damages in the case of possible delays in delivery.

8- Transport


Our transporters handle the works of art with great care. The works are insured during transport and until they are delivered to you. Our deliveries are carried out by carriers with proof of receipt. Your signature on the Proof of Delivery validates the delivery. However, we specifically request that you open and examine the work of art in the presence of the carrier and point out any anomaly. In the case of any problem, please note it on the delivery receipt and send back the work by return. We will reimburse you as soon as possible. In the case of dispute on receipt of the work, register your concerns on the Proof of Delivery document. Astrid Millennium Art must be notified of this dispute within 48 hours by email at :

Satisfied or reimbursed

In conformity with current law, the customer has the right to return the purchase in perfect condition and in its original packaging within 7 clear days after receipt of the order. Transportation costs are payable by the customer. We will refuse any return sent postage due. We have complete authority in the choice of carrier for the return of the work.
10-Confidentiality

Astrid Millennium Art will never release or sell your personal details to a third party. Our customers may request to have their details erased from customer files. The customer's address is necessary when ordering to allow invoicing and delivery. Telephone details allow us to contact the customer, if necessary, to follow-up on the order. The customer's email address allows us to confirm the order. The nominative details requested for the purposes of distance-sale are compulsory as they are essential to the processing of the order and invoicing. If there is information missing, the order will not be treated. In conformity with the law "Informatique et Libertés" of January 6th, 1978, the customer has the right to access, modify, correct and erase the details concerning him/her by a simple email request sent to contact@astridmillenniumart.com


11-  After sales service

If damage is caused by you, the artist accepts, under certain conditions, to repair the work. Together, we will be able to find the most appropriate means to produce an estimate and to carry out the reparation.


12-  Dispute

Should a dispute arise in the current contractual conditions, the parties concerned agree to look for an amicable solution before any judicial action is taken. All complaints must be addressed to Astrid Millennium Art at the following email address : contact@astridmillenniumart.com

All parties agree that this contract is subject to French law, and in particular to distance-sale regulations (articles L.121-16 to L. 121-20 of the 'code de la consommation'), integrating the directive 97/7 of May 20th, 1997 in relation to consumer protection in terms of distance-sale contracts (transposition scheduled in 1998).

In the case of dispute, the Versailles - France courts alone are competent.
